    It's a nice widget, it's just too bad so many radio streams use Realplayer — it's the biggest piece of s**t.

    I'm having an odd error on it at the moment - the radio goes off when I send the widgets back into the background!

    Incidentally, what are your favourite widgets? I use the flight tracker (only so-so), the world clocks, the word counter (having discovered that Word's word count is deeply unreliable), the calculator, the world weather for various cities.

    That's caused by Realplayer. What version are you using? 11? If so it's garbage, get rid of it. Install 10.1, it's crap as well and freezes every 5 minutes but at least it works for a while. Nothing can be done about this I'm afraid, just try to get windows media streams when possible.

    The only other 3rd party widget I use is iStat pro.

    Oh, thanks. I was surprised when 11 was trying to get me to instal 10.1 as an update.

    You might talk to Markus Wuersch, the coder who made RadioTuner, and see if he'd give options for other players. It uses RealPlayer, and also, I think, Windows Media Player, at the moment.
