Yes I know it's outside Dublin which is a really scary thought for most Dubs but this has been a very personal project for me and its only right that I hold the release party in my dad's home town.

The book is 96 pages in total [minus content and bio pages its still over 90 pages of art] - 30 artists contributing to 25 stories. The book is dedicated to my Dad who past away in September 2007 while working for the United Nations in Sri Lanka and all money raised from the sale of the book will be donated to GOAL.

I will post all the information for purchasing the book after the release party. It will be available shortly after the launch in Sub City in Dublin and to buy online if you have paypal. It will also be sold at the Birmingham comics convention in October and Thought bubble in Leeds in November. There will be a full list posted on my blog in the coming weeks.

Can't make it down I'm afraid (too scary for me!!), but I hope it does really well for you. I saw some of the bits you posted on your web page (though too late for me to send anything in) and it looks really good. I'll have to pick up a copy when it goes on sale here in Dublin.
    Best of Luck!!

Yeah I know most people won't be able to make it down, it is a long way to tipperary after all, I really just wanted to let people know the book is done and will be out soon.

I am thinking I might have a small get together in Dublin the following friday or saturday - that would be either the 19th or the 20th. Would people be up for that? Nothing major just meet in a nice pub for a drink and I'll have copies of the book. Anyone got a suggestion of a pub? No where to loud or lacking comfy seating options.

really sorry I can`t make it down but I`ll pick up a copy in Subcity and I`ll throw a little extra in one of those GOAL buckets in town because I would`ve thrown a few extra quid your way if I was at the launch.
print job looks fantastic as well.

Can't make it. Between my back and the other thing I'm stuck in Dublin. Seriously since I've been diagnosed I've been wrapped in cotton wool and kept in bed.

I'll be at the November Convention in Smithfield, and will pick up a copy or two...

Good luck and it looks fantastic... your Dad would be proud.

Hey Stephen, I'll be in Japan that week so it won't be at the con. It will be on sale in Sub City the weekend of the 20th of this month.

No chance of me making it to Thurles this weekend, but I'll be happy to pick up a copy by whatever means.

Also I've actually put a website up for this rather then this a divert to my LJ - take a look [please let me know if any links aren't working]

A Dublin release party is going to happen on the 21st of this month, I'm just waiting to here back from some pubs regarding space to have it.

Count me in for the Dublin one... I'll buy a copy as soon as I can hit Sub City...

If you are doing any more charitable books I'd be more than happy to write something for it... At the moment I'm writing a play about Comic Con.... then back to More Celtic Knights...

Hope all is well and the release this weekend brings many sales....

    Peace
    Stephen
