    Thanks Cabaal, that didn't give me the shutter time though... maybe it was in bulb or something and doesn't record it?

    I don't the original files on this machine, but ISO was about 300 or thereabouts at f/4. Shutter was open for a total of 30 minutes, but made up from sixty 30 seconds exposures. Stick it on a tripod, remote cable, set the camera to burst mode and 30 seconds exposure and just leave the remote cable button open and it will keep taking the shots itself for you.

    The sixty images were stacked in LR/Enfuse, and then just played about in LR to get the colours I wanted.
