Really big eyeglasses

What do people think of the big eyeglasses trend that has begun to creep in. I've just gotten myself a pair and I have gotten quite a mixed reaction from people. I like mine and realise that they're quite different from the rectangular frames that I had before, but I just wanted to know if people think that big eyeglasses frames just scream fashion victim/slave or whether they can be a good choice for some people.

(Neither of these are what I got- I went for a very colourful frame as well as a very large one)

Mine are bigger than them....big black frames at the front with silver at the side with small black and white stripes. Sounds odd but they're fab. Well I think they are. I only wear them for driving and TV anyway but if you like your big frames go for it. They suit some people and don't suit others. My brother for example wears clear ones with no frame and they're better on him so depends on the face.

They are nice if you are wearing them because you need to. i hate all these people going around wearing them with no fecking glass in the,, cos they think its 'cool'.

but yeh anyone who just wears the frames should be killed in the most inhumane way possible.

Fine if you wear glasses, but what really annoys me are the ones with fake lenses! WHY wear them? Wherever I go on a night out I'm surrounded by people wearing them, like three people who are all friends...you all look the same!

Hmnn I wouldn't be so keen on the first pair you linked too OP but the second pair can look very cool on the right person.

I think they look terrible on girls. They can look decent on some lads.

Went to a party with them last night got comments ranging from they're cool to they're terrible. So I suppose its a taste thing. I was tired of having the same thick-ish framed, rectangular glasses in a bright colour. So...its certainly a change.

Apperently they're as big as sunglasses, only with clear lenses (clear perscription lenses).

There soooo nice, i have to wear my glasses full time now, so i was trying to find a pair like yours that would suti me, but they didnt look right:( am jealous:p
