Good Polish To Buff Out Guitar

Hey Guys! I recently picked up a lovely '93 Strat Plus which some guy improperly stored away for the last 10 years. Ive managed to replace the rusted hardware, repair the electronics and sort out the neck so all I have left to do is buff out the finish to its original high gloss. Can anyone recommend a good polish compound which I can pick up in town to do this?

I just use the Dunlop polish/wax/condtioner set. I've heard Meiguars is good and can be got in any auto store.

I use Safe-cut or T-cut to remove swirls & scratchs and a good polish (can't remember what name). Also, I have a few tricks for getting a good shine! One of the main ones is using a Meguiars microfibre cloth that I have.

Okay I left work early and picked up some Safe-Cut on my way home. Gave it a light once over and the finish now looks mint under normal light, however under a very bright light it still looks very scratchy. I'll give it another once over later which will hopefully take care of that but in the meantime here she is in all her wine red glory:

Dammit man, do you know people pay big money to have their guitars look battered and bruised? You've ruined it, you ruiner you!

J/K, looks sweet. Good job, they're nice guitars :)
