    This is the trailer for Kevin Smith's new movie. Seems to be a x-rated romcom and stars Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks as two friends who make a porno to pay the rent.

    I dont know about Smith, he makes the odd good movie but he has a tendency to make juvenile flicks. Chasing Amy is by far his best movie, i for one would like to see him make more films along that line, he's clearly a great writer, so a more mature film would be interesting . . . this one isn't it. Does look funny though and i will go to see it.

    What do boardsies think?

    Not really much interest in it, apart from Kevin Smith being behind it, and Seth Rogan who's becoming a little saturated lately.

    Will probably see it anyway.

    Will go to see it. Like Smiths films and have never got to see any of them on the big screen. Fingers crossed I'll catch this one while its in the cinema.

    Was about to post that exact thing...that fella is so overexposed lately he's getting on my nerves even though I liked him when I saw him in Knocked up.


    I think he needs to do something completely different now before he becomes a caricature of himself.

    He was supposed to do a horror called 'Red State' but don't think The Weinstein's were too into it.. and wouldn't give him funding.

    I'm not sure on 'Zack And Miri'.. I'm a fan of his and have enjoyed practically everything he's done but the trailer really didn't make me laugh. But both Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks are both funny people, and dick and fart jokes are what Smith does best. So he should have plenty of material!

    Will go to see this, as I usually enjoy his films even if they are a bit throwaway. When he is on form (Chasing Amy and Clerks) his films can be great, but a lot of the time his films are only okay (Mallrats and Clerks 2) and when he tries to stray from his usual territory, you get Jersey Girl (which really is painfully sentimental). This looks like it could be a good, immature laugh which should hopefully provide a solid comedy. But he is definitely one director who is more of a character than a fantastic film-maker.
