Season 4.5 pushed back to April?

Aaron Douglas says there's been talk of it at Sci-Fi.

The final episodes of Season Four of Battlestar Galactica may air as late as April 2009, according to the show’s star Aaron Douglas at a cast panel discussion Sunday at Dragon*Con 2008.

Douglas, who plays Chief Tyrol, said that the SCI FI network has completely ignored arguably their biggest hit, adding “and the SCI FI Network sucks,” which got a big applause from those in the audience.

In fairness, it's the last ever BSG episodes and it's already been long enough to drive me temporarily insane. So, I dont mind how much longer I gotta wait, it'll just make it all the sweeter when it arrives. Of course, that may just be the insanity talking...

Yeah, Sci-Fi have now confirmed the show is back on Jan 16. The April thing was just a rumour thankfully.

Initially I hated the news it would end after 4 seasons but What a 4 seasons its been. I honestly couldn't fault any season. So no matter how long we have to wait I'm betting it will be worth it.

Thank God! Except I deleted all the episodes off sky plus and I can't remember exactly what happened in season 4 until the last episode.

Argh! What a stupid decision that was, BSG will probably fizzle out now instead of going out on a bang. Hopefully the majority of people, unlike me, haven't lost interest.

I've forgotten a load of it. And frankly, I'm not sure I care anymore. They've been pulling the anticipation string far too much and mine is broken. I can only imagine how much cliffhanger omgwtf bull**** they will pull in the last few episodes.

Haven't been up to speed lately (currently have a newborn!) Didn't know there were webisodes releasing to bridge the gap in Series 4. Are they on Sci-Fi? Are they any good? I liked the resistance ones before Series 4.

They are, all but number nine are available on youtube.

Bare in mind, that scifi have only offically released up to webisode 7 so far...officially.

Will SciFi here have the episodes on Jan 16th. I see Sky are advertising starting them on Jan 20th. Have already booked the TV from the wife for that day. HAve my latest novelty t-shirt ("I heart toasters")ready to wear,although not sure how much respect from the kids I'll get after that!

The US Sci-fi Channel have it from January 16th and Sky have the rights in the UK to air them from the 20th. The UK Sci-fi Channel do not have rights to BSG as that was the agreement between Sci-fi and Sky when they co-produced the series afaik.

Just 4 days to go.

raises lots more questions, seems like old footage spliced with new scenes from the upcoming episode on the 20th.
Sky are just as bad though, they've been showing ad's for BSG for the past few weeks with new footage too, kinda hard to miss that if you watch anything on sky at all

I think the Cylon is Baltar's head is more likely to be GOD or an Angel if thats what you mean.

We've waited six months, but at long last it's here. After taking a mid-season break, Battlestar Galactica returns to our screens for what is believed to be its final chapter.

In the run-up to the mid-season finale, we saw the race to find Earth reach a powerful climax when the humans and Cylons jumped into the planet's atmosphere, only to discover a grey, radioactive wilderness and the place in ruins. Now, with storylines tightly under wraps and chaos reigning among the Colonial Fleet and the Cylons, it's anyone's guess where we're heading.

The opener has Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (Katee Sackhoff, pictured), struggling with the foreboding prediction of the Cylon Hybrid, so perhaps we'll find out how that prophecy will pan out. And what are Six and Baltar up to?

Meanwhile the rumour mills have gone into overdrive... could Lee Adama become more central in the future of the colony? And what of Bill and President Roslin's relationship? All in all, it's going to be a tense time for Battlestar fans. We're sure you won't be disappointed.

Will the ad breaks not annoy the sh!t out of you? Having watched several dvd boxsets over the holidays, tv ad breaks are no longer tolerable.

I've been annoyed with Season 4. It's too slow compared to other seasons, annoying in it's overly religious themes now. The last 10 really need to pick up the pace and impress.

Speaking of which given how built up this has gotten its probably a good idea to remind everyone to use SPOILER warnings and Spoiler tags. And please, no new threads shouting THE CYLON IS REVEALED cause then well, damn, I know theyll have revealed it in that episode, now wont I? Grr.

Anyway, I theorize that for the above reason (not wanting to have people sh!t a brick in anticipation of who the final cylon is) that they will probably reveal it on the First Episode from the break.

Lucly for me no-one at work watched it and me mates and I never talk about shows unless we all have watched the entire series...............although this did mean during the summer having one of us having to sit on his own at the bar for 15 mins as the remaining 3 wanted to discuss BSG!

Not going to happen - my money is on the reveal happening in the last 5 minutes of the last episode.

Nah. They will let most everything sink in so that the last 2-3 episodes are cram packed with action. The last 30 minutes will contain an amazing climax and then an Epilogue.

I thought it was an article hyping up all the suspects, when it revealed the final one.... bad mistake!!!
