Just heard a bit of chit chat regarding Keggers, he is "in talks" with Ashley etc, sounds like he could be gone pretty soon*.

    Mike

    *could be nonsense

If this happens well, then Ashley is making a mockery of the club and fans.

This has been coming for some time and I was surprised in the first place that he went back to the Toon. He's always been a quitter and I'm sure he will walk soon. Or he could get pushed.

Where did you hear this chit chat?
This thread is pointless without a source.

Not a source per se. But it's being reported on football365.

They did actually seem to be getting better - Guittierez (sp?) and Collocini seemed like good signing. But it's Newcastle, so it'd make for sense for Keegan to be sacked.

I love how Newcastle always know how to bring the lols.

    Keegan never walks away...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,527 ✭✭✭brick tamland

Amazed he' lasted this long. he's a well known quitter and with the whole Dennis wise being brought in behind he back thing i though he would have walked then.

    Wise to take over.

Selling one of their best players for 10 million and then not buying any decent replacment is surely to get up his nose.

Denis Wise to be in charge for next game imo

I watching setanta sports news here, no ssn. They've reported he's gone and then they reported he's still in talks with Ashley. Setanta are ****ing awful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,002 ✭✭✭Cionád

BBC radio Newcastle say he's still meeting with the board.

He'll be gone though I think. Just when we started to play well. :(

Nah if Newcastle was a sitcom it'd be Men Behaving Badly.

If Sammy Lee was a sitcom he'd be Red Dwarf.
Don't know why I threw that one in there. It just made me smile.

I will be absolutely devastated if keegan leaves.

I just cant see him walking out on us again, he just cant... :(

There is a press conference at 2.30 apparently, hopefully it will be unveiling new signing and not a new manager.

Comon they're not that bad. Last night they had reported almost an hour before SSN that the Berbatov deal was done and dusted with Frazier Campbell going to the other way.

He might not walk! He could always leave by helicopter again after all.

SSN report that he is almost certainly gone.

As for announcing a signing at 2.30pm - doubtful. I would say that Wise wants the top job and now he has it.

Well, when you have no control over the players that the club sign, it's alway going to end in tears. Absolute mental set-up.
