    Heys guys,I was thinking of getting an Macbook pro in America because its so cheap.Does anyone know if it will work in Ireland or if it will not be compaible.Thanks

    It'll be fine, except that the plug on the power supply will need to be changed, and the Customs at the airport might have a go at you... ;)

    You should also check out the refurb section of the US Apple Store...discounts on current MBPs are generally 20%-25% below regular US store prices.....with the same warranty.

    Bought my MBP in America just last month.....works perfectly. Just have an adaptor on the plug, it's so much cheaper it's too hard not to get one!
