Got a letter during the summer saying that the grant was being reduced. I doubt they'd get rid of it completely. Sucks if it has been though:(

    Where did you hear this?

I spoke to Grace Edge, a Student Coordinator from TAP in December and she said that past TAP students will receive similar amount that we will get from Higher Education Grant which is €1370 for the majority of people who live in Dublin.
I haven't heard about TAP canceling the Grant and I don't feel like emailing them about it. I think that it's highly unlikely but possible. Where did your hear that though?

My elder siblings heard it on the grape vine in Trinity...They think that it will either be reduced like you said or completely done away with ( sorry I did not mean to panic anyone)...I'm smashed  We will have to live on air :D

I hope that's won't happen, cause I need money to support me through college. I think it's just going to be less, but not less that €1,000 I hope.
