Hi, planning a trip with a few lads next summer to one of the above resorts, will probably stay in a nice villa. Has anyone out there thats been to either or both of these resorts have any recommendations on nightlife, clubs, bars etc. and which would be the best? Want to go to the best up-market venues and areas of either destination ie; minimal scumbags, no hooligan types and smaller more exclusive niteclubs. Thanks!

Well obviously St Tropez would be a far more glamourous destination allbeit very pretentioius (if your into that type of thing)but Ibiza too can be pretentioius with the amount of Italian posers (what a complete bunch of muppets) on the island in some clubs like Pacha (good club asides from the Italians and drinks prices) and Space,Ibiza town while being a very cool cosmpolitan place can too be somewhat expensive and high class in places, you'd probably want to avoid San Antonio for the most partn although it has goten better in redent times (less scumbags is the word)

Es Vive in Ibiza would be a good choice IMP

I was in St Tropez 6 years ago. Its a nice place but there is not a whole lot to it to be honest. There are numerous bars by the harbourside but they can be pretty expensive to get a beer in. Getting there can be a bit tedious as the traffic can be crazy and there is no train station.

I recommend you have a look at this website http://www.pv-holidays.com/os/holiday_bargains_france/september-holidays-france
