I hurt my knee while doing a pretty intense cardio regime( well intense for me ) around xmas time and stupidly ive tried to play through the pain as the saying goes and its gotten steadily worse and now i have to go in to a sports clinic to fix a tear in the ligaments around my knnee.
Not looking for medical advice just want to know if anybody has gone through this procedure before and what it entails?

which Ligaments MCL , LCL ?
AFAIK the MCL and LCL have fairly good blood supply and should heal reasonably fast for mild to moderate tears .
If the ligament is detached it may take a bit longer.
But still better than daming the meniscii or ACL/PCL.
