where can I download ipod tunes for free and legal

    know might sound like stupid question but have ipod and got songs downloaded from my mate about six months ago have apple ipod and acer laptop and just wondering where I can download free music as getting bored of tunes I have now at this stage pure novice with all this type stuff

    Sign up for an eMusic account: get 25 free music tracks now and then cancel your account once that is done. That will get you started. (Plus, later, they'll most likely email you in a few months and offer you more free downloads - I've just been offered 75 if I re-register my account.) www.emusic.com

    Other place to check out is amazon.com, they often have a free track or two available for various bands. Currently, I can see free tracks from "Verve" to "Dolly Parton" on offer! Just go to www.amazon.com and search for "free music downloads".
