Hey Guys, seeing that theres quite a few knowledgeable people hanging around this board hopefully someone can help me out. I've been using a set of Tannoy Reveal passive monitors through a Samson Servo 170 poweramp for my monitoring purposes for a few years now but recently the speakers have a horrible habit of cutting out (individually, not simulataniously). If I tap the driver the sound comes back but its starting to get quite annoying. Anyone any suggestions on what I can do or should I just scrap these and get a set of NS10's? Cheers!

Sounds to me like the wiring is after coming loose- maybe they took a knock or something?
I'd say open them up and have a look see if anything is out of the ordinary.

Hard to know really. Have you double checked all your connections?
Generally, if a speaker goes, it ain't coming back - so I'd suggest if it isn't the aforementioned connections, it's the amp.

If you're in a position to get NS10 Studios ......... do it!
