Currently im in leixlip(kildare) and im looking for a list of close by and recommended martial arts and self defence... ive noticed there seems to be none at the top and the ones seen throughout the forum are mostly spific to each persons need. is there any major list for around dublin area or for my need?

currently im looking for preferably a small class/one on one but not required... i have no experience and my fitness weight level might be slightly questionable but nothing i cant work off. what should i look out for in terms of safety and professionalism and risk of harm and ineffective training

    Hey there,

I teach a small group in Kildare (Newbridge). Based on Lee Morison's "Urban Combatives" system. We train in realistic self-protection, but the class itself is friendly, and suitable for any levels of fitness and experience.

Feel free to drop me a PM if you need any more info',

    Cheers,

    Rob.

Here's some info re. Urban Combatives in case you are interested.

PS - Actually, just looking at a map of leixlip, and its the other side of Kildare, which might be a bit far for you. The offer is there anyway.

    Hi

I teach Silat and Eskrima, I have a group in Lucan Sports center, and at other location. We keep our classes small in number and we train in empty hand and weapon defences. You find more details on our website or on our blog. You be more than welcome.

    Liam
