    Hi all,
Do you guys know of any charity organizations that are looking for an IT person? I have lots of free time now, a bit of knowledge and experience, and great desire to learn. So basicaly I am looking for something meaningful to do.

    Thanks

you can always try to do some job as a volounteer, not necessary in it company, but for example community college, a youth club, etc.

Contact your local Adult Literacy centre. It will probably be in a VEC school.
Many of them are now using computers with the students, but rarely have any IT person, so there will be lots of little jobs need doing. Fairly basic stuff though - updating, connecting printers etc.
You could see some shockers, like Windows ME still being used.
