    Hi,

I once knew this guy in college who just knew everyday where there was going to be a book launch or gallery opening or exhibition or festival. Things that even though I read the papers and boards I always miss.

How do you keep informed of these things?
(Would a stickie on this forum help?)

DCC keep sending me such information - presumable I added my name to a mailing list years ago!

(Was your friend after the 'refreshments' that are usually available? ;))

OP - might want to check out http://www.dublineventguide.com - all free events in dublin

Wishbone Ash - maybe you could stick up the address for the email you receive as I would be interested in hearing more about this product/or service.

It's all postal mail but a lot of it has www.dublincitypubliclibraries.ie on it.

    Bump

For those in Dublin who may have missed it the first time it was mentioned, you might want to check out OP - http://www.dublineventguide.com

Given the recession I reckon this thread is due a bump especially the
Event Guide for FREE Events in Greater Dublin

    http://www.dublineventguide.com/

I know I've pimped this before but I've honestly no link with the guide - I just feel its a useful resource for people to know about.

3 times in the one thread.
Maybe spend more time either finding a decent content management system, learning some markup to improve the layout, or writing your own site.

It's fugly and doesn't present a list of upcoming events immediately.

    So it's not worth spamming.

Put a link in your signature instead.
