    is it MASSIVE?
and more importantly, would I be allowed to setup servers just for me to access when I'm at home?

I read (somewhere) that it's forbidden, but that the computer guys might make exceptions: do they do this?

    also is the web filtered?

    dankes

The short answer is no you won't be able to connect to a server when you're at home. There are ways around that such as using logmein if its a windows machine.

No websites are blocked but you're behind a proxy that blocks most ports.
