Hi all, I would like to get your thoughts on my program I'm doing.

Main goal is to get fit and build muscle mass. I get bored with gym programs so I go to classes instead i do the following classes is this a good balance or should i change it up.

    Monday: BodyPump (Weights class)
Tuesday: Spin followed by Abs class
    Wednesday: BodyPump (Weights class)
    Thursday: Boxcircuit
    Friday:Spin followed by Abs class
    Saturday: BodyPump
    Sunday: Rest day

I'm not great on the diet side of things but I plan to start using Maximuscle protein after workouts and maybe the protein meal bar during the day as a snack.

    I'm 6 foot and weight 11 st 8.

    Any thoughts would be great.

If one of your goals is to build muscle mass then I would doubt very much that the Bodypump weights class will help you achieve this. You would be better concentrating your efforts in learning the basic heavy lifting excercises like squats and deadlifts etc.

I also think that you shouldn't be supplementing your diet with protein shakes until you start eating properly. Sort the diet out then look into supplements. The stickies have all the info to help clean up your diet.

Do you think you might be over doing it with classes six days a week?

Thanks for the reply. I will look into the diet stickies I'm not an unhealthy eater I just don't know what is the right diet for gaining muscle while going to the gym Calories v Protein intake etc. You may have a point that 6 classes is to much in a week this is the sort of feedback I'm looking for.
