Some shots I recently took on my trip to Faro and Tavira, I was quite pleased with them.

I like the last two good colors in the 2nd last and B&W is nice in the last one. The others dont really do anything for me im afraid :(

I find myself drawn to the first shot more because i love that style more than the actual shot if i am honest. I think it's the lines across the shot the are taking from it for me but then again nothing could be done about them except possibly cloning them? That said, i love the detail in the tree, i'd like to see a shot of a lone tree with that treatment if you have it?

Really like the last two, the colours are really nice in the second to last and once again the BW treatment in the last photo is really nice.

Thanks for the input people, it was only after I posted them that I thought why the hell should people who don't know me on here even bother, but cheers, I'm chuffed.

I'll have a go at the lone tree as the original is much bigger, there's actually 2 trees in it.

I really like these. I would be tempted to clone out the wires and the bit of the other tree from the first photo though. Nice set though, nice colours and ahh...... textures is the word I'm looking for I think ;)

The coloured doors (number 4) is my favourite

I think it is the contrast between the 3 different colours, red yellow and green.

I like #4 too, I think widing the crop to include the bottom & top red door frames would help improve the compostion, very nice old world feel from it.

I like the one with the doors but the others dont do so much for me. Not quite my personal style but not bad.

As above possibly clone out the wires in the first. The algarve had great caves for photography did you happen to get any?

No, didnt' come across any, although 'the Algarve' is a pretty broad term I used. I was solely in Tavira (no caves) with a day in Faro city.

1 and 4 are very good (although if possible try and lose the wires in 1 as mentioned).

The others don't really do anything for me but that's a personal thing I suppose.
