Hi, heading off to Sweden next week with Ryanair and I need to bring my laptop with me. What is the story with this? Can I bring a laptop and a small bag on board the plane? Any hassle getting a laptop through security?

You just need to take it out of your bag and put it in a tray they will give you in security and it goes through the scanner. No big deal, a lot of people travel with laptops these days.

There is no problem bringing a laptop onboard. When you go through security at the airport you'll have to take your laptop out of your bag and pass it through the scanner that way. Once you're on the plane you can use the laptop just not during take-off or landing.
