    I only bought a simple P&S (cybershot) about 8 weeks ago....

    Now i've gone and bought this.

    Am i nuts?

    Looking on the bright side however, so long as i don't get stung for Canadian taxes which is 10% in the province i live, i've paid just under (40 cents under:)) 400 euro for it incl delivery. So even if i get charged taxes i'm only looking at another 40 euro.

    So, that's a saving of 100-150 euro based on pixmania prices. Nay too shabby indeed.

    It was between either this or the D40, D40 is a little less but i think you get more for your money with this. I could have gone up to the 450D but i just couldn't warrant paying soo much money for my very first DSLR, likewise with the D80.

    I hope it's worth it!!!:D

    It will be.

    I only moved from a P+S to a bridge but already it has forced me to learn far more about photography than i would have thought and the images i am producing i get happier and happier with each time.

    One thing i will say, your spending a lot of money on a camera so be sure you get the most from it and exhaust it's limits and let us see the results.:)

    Yeah, i intend to snap the shoite outta it! :)

    It will be interesting to see what kind of results i get, or not get as the case may be.:)
