Do I need a second language to go to Trinity?

    You need a language other than English and Irish for the NUI anyway; not 100% but I imagine TCD are the same? unless they count Irish as an extra language, stranger things have happened.

    TCD are def a bit odd with somethings (I remember when I did the LC Geography could count as a science subject for certain courses)

    call the admissions office!

    A pass in mathematics and a pass in a language other than English

    Basically if you have Irish then that counts.

    Yup, that counts as a language for matriculation too

    Of course latin counts as a second language, the trinity folk love their latin.

    The only languages I sat were Eng and Iri, and I'm finished my first year now... :pac:

    Ok good because I have dropped out of French(really hate learning any language besides english)

    And I am gonna be learning Geology which counts as a subject in Trinity.

    Doing 2 pass subjects(Irish and maths) and 6 honors
