Funniest thing to happen to you during a skirmish

well i spotted this thread while over on ASI and thaught well this would be a good one.
so what was the funniest thing that has happened to you or someone you know during a skirmish???

well to get the ball roling here is one of mine
at fingal there a couple of weeks ago (when it was half flooded) we were attacking the house. so this guy (sorry cant remember your name) was walking along the river (which is 2-3 times bigger than normal) so he takes up afiring position and starts to shoot. then when the enemy spot him they open fire on him!! he gets hitt in the face which causes him to fall backwards in to river!! all you could see was him splashing around trying to keep his gun above the water!! it was so funny looking!! i just stood there laughing untill i got hit and then laughed all the way back up the hill!!!:D:D:D

Ranged engagement, had only a pistol left. The team I was leading needed a distraction so they could sneak out of the danger area. Turned on the iPod I kept in my tac vest, threw on an Avril Lavigne song and started singing and dancing. It worked, in a way. The other team were completely distracted and baffled. Those that weren't crying with laughter were staring in horror/disbelief. Unfortunately the team I had been leading were a bit crap. One claimed he didn't want to play any more (apparently due to my shouting orders), one spent 15 minutes of a half hour game reloading and the rest (bar one lad) couldn't take out a barrel of fish with a hand grenade and a bag of lime and had all the stealth skills of a herd of elephants being set on fire in an Ikea store.

There was still time left in the game, my iPod still had plenty of battery life and the rest of an Avril album to go through so I continued dancing in a super sexy way out of complete frustration until the game was called.
I didn't think much of it at the time, but it has apparently become a more iconic moment than I intended it to be.

At The Gathering 2,
Me, SniperSight and Real Steyr Dave were in long grass hidden and trying to sneak up on the red bus and surprise its defenders,
we crawled through the grass for what, according to my video footage, was in or around 7 minutes inch by inch until we were right at the edge of the long grass aout 10 feet from the bus,
happy we had made it unnoticed that far we figured rushing it was the best option, figuring they couldnt hit us all as the bus appeared to be lightly defended,
we lined up, checked our guns and I led the countdown, 3-2-1- GO!!!!!!!!!!
I was first up and outta the grass with Sniper right behind and Dave last, suddenly as we were half-way to the bus a mad aussie by the name Mad Ozzie bang killed me and sniper from behind, unfortuneately he was squeezing the trigger vigourisly aswell, going BANG-BANG as the pistol fired away:D
At the shock I stumbled into the side of the bus and Sniper came crashing down on top of me,
as we lay there in a heap slightly bemused at what happend Ozzie was then bang killed and shot copiously ,
after he left and just before I got up t regen I saw Dave at the very edge of the long grass with his head only sticking out with a look of shock on his face:D

It was priceless!

Managed to sneak the whole way from the lane way to the rear of the tanker in old HRTA. I had the drop on 2-4 lads and decided to make the most of it with a little shock and awe. I rose up out of my crouch and charged their position firing in arcing sprays from the hip...

... or at least I would have if the blasted mag hadnt dropped out of my FAMAS after catching on my webkit. I was left standing staring at the enemy who stared back with that "Pulp Fiction - God Stopped the Bullets" look - and riddled me with autofire.

Very embarassing.

Um I'm gonna have to go with the tree incident.

This happened in predator, I was moving up through the trees on far right of the chopper. I got hit and being the good little soldier I am started making my way back to base camp to regen. There was a steepish slope that I needed to get down and since falling on my ass and flapping around in a turtle-like manner seemed a little undignified I decided to lean against a conveniently placed tree. Bad Idea!

The tree creaked, snapped and plunged earthward faster than a greased fast thingy without a parachute. It landed a couple of metres in front of my teams CO who was making his way back to the action.

So yeah the funniest thing that happened to me in a skirmish was the time I nearly took out my own CO with the lumberjack rule

at the gathering two i decided to hide in a ditch after retreating a bit but then i felt a hit on my arm and then another on the other arm i called out hit but it turend out to be wasps and went running into a lane dancing like a little girl:o.................. bastids

I have actually summarily executed a guy before for not advancing and gave the "Everyone fights..." speech from Starship Troopers to a stunned squad. Best use of a pistol, ever.

At the start of a round at the birthday shoot i was sprinting to get to some position or other.
My mag fell out of my m14, it happened to be fairly mucky, so i turned round to stop and pick it up, but unfortunately my feet didn't agree with stopping...
So i fell flat on my face

So i laughed to myself,got up and brushed off some muck.
Glanced over to the containers to find it was all on camera and is now on you tube...
woot.

Yeah ozzie tends to bang kill while fireing
I accidently shot him in the face same round while he was trying to "drive" the bus (i was on his team).
