Would you pay £40 quid for a pint or about $78! Has anyone here ever tried it? Was it nice?

I'd love to try No.2 the Sam Adams Utopia- 25% alcohol, six pack of that **** and you'd be set for the night!. Ive tried the regular Sam Adams before and it was lovely.

Or No.3 the Tutankamun brew, created with the help of archaeologists who discovered some ancient egyptian beer recipe ha!
£40 doesnt seem to bad though for the worlds most expensive. I remember paying about 15euro for a guinness in korea!

Yeah, sounds like Midleton Rare alright.

You can get a similar effect if you just buy a couple of shots and just lob them into your pint.

After drinking the higher percentage Belgian beers over there its just what they tasted like to me.

This tops the list of the world's most expensive beer, costing around £500 (equivalent to around $1,000) per bottle or about £39 (equivalent to around $78) per pint.
How big is the bottle?

    Calculate it!

$1000 divided by $78 = 12.8 x 570ml = 7308ml ! so about 7litres wow! Is that right? Im drinking now so maths arent the best!

    strap it to my veins:D

Seriously potent stuff there. The strongest I ever drank was one of three but don't know which is the strongest, Delirium Tremens, Gulden Draak or Beelzebuth.

The Delirium was the messiest, Franciscan Easter beer fest happened to fall on my birthday one year and I told all my buddies to meet for a piss up. I was a little early and naturally I browsed for the strongest option found the delirium and bought one. Then my friends started arriving and it was Happy Birthday Colin what you drinking there. Suffice to say I drank a ridiculous amount of the stuff and basically had to be carried out of the place.

I would defo buy a pint so that I could tell people I drank the most expensive beer in the world. Not so much tell but more announce it regally witha monacle and cigar.

hmmm 6 pack @ 25% = 30 standard beers worth of alcohol. I suppose its enough if you feel like having a quiet one in.

If I had that kinda money just to throw down the toilet, I wouldn't spend it on beer!

    A fine contribution.

Yeah I'd try it. I'm not a big fan of beer in general but I have found an odd one or two that I've liked so it'd be interesting to give this a whirl.

I have been considering buying a bottle of utopias with a little while, but I read somewhere becasue of its strength its more like port than beer so I dont know.

That Tutankhamen ale is something i'd like to try as well.
