Ha, apparently all I've got to do tomorrow is pick up the Student Card, so I don't start until Wednesday. DCU starts crazy late.

Oh, and I missed the meet-up and subsequent debauchery. :(

Does anyone else find it strange that our student id doesnt have our date of birth on it.

Considering how the bouncers at lock and key were going on about how we would need both identification of age and confirmation of being in DCU, you would think that a DOB would be on our student card.

Was the DOB on the old student cards or is it just myself who thinks it would be a good idea for it to be on there.

As far as I know if a student card is issued to an U18, a large yellow strip will appear on the bottom of the card, so that way if yours doesn't have one, the bouncers will let you in.

Of course that does mean you have to apply for a new card the moment you turn 18.

    We just have orientation!

Where it says 7 on the schedule is when we get our cards. Which is at 3.30 on Friday. It's the only thing we have on Friday! Pain in the ass cause I wanted to get an early train down to Tipperary. Oh well!

Heh, the serial killer :p He couldn't open my lock! Maybe we just looked like DCU students or something

I've been terribly sick since yesterday.

Missing all the good stuff and throwing up your breakfast 2 days in a row is worse than just missing all the good stuff.

Edit: Oh if you're missing stuff because you need a place to stay then just find someone on campus (There's a few of us) to sign you in for a fiver.

No flu-like symptoms, just upset stomach and vomitted a couple times.

I did German (ab-initio) and Spanish aswell. Spent 3rd year in Germany and then deferred for a year to study in Spain.

That's cool. Where in Spain did you study? I lived there for 8 years.

    I'm doing both languages intermediate
