This months Boxing News has an article where Khan said next year he would probably move up to LWtr (proabably??) and if he did he'd like to take on Hatton. Hatton said he's up for it. Can it happen? will it happen?
From a British boxing perspective it's a bad move, I think Khan would be beaten either way.

Cant see it happening because of the promoters. Warren and Hatton dont exactly see eye to eye. If they could set their differences aside then it would be an amazing bout. IMO it would be very beneficial for British boxing, maybe not for the loser as it damages their rep alot.
Its a classic, Khan will try to use his speed and skill, and Hatton will look to utilise his footwork, distance and power, ones coming into his prime, the other coming out of it (hopefully not by much). Basically puncher versus boxer.

I read that, I'd love to see it. Hatton would stop Khan at this stage. He still has some gas left in the tank and Khan aint no Money Mayweather.

Well these are the only two real prospects (Hatton already well established) for British boxing, Haye aside.
Matching the two early on is only going to pull one out of the lime light, for me it would be like matching Lee and Duddy, not unless they have to clash, I'd leave them be.
Would be a good bout thats for sure.

Can't see it happen myself , But if it did go ahead (within the next 12- 18 months) There is only one outcome IMO . Hatton would deal with Khan comfortably.

Hatton would hurt Khan at this point in his career. Gomez dropped him. Hatton would hurt him. 2 years down the line, I think it would be a good fight, but Khan needs alot more experience.

Couldn't agree more Kahn does need a lot more experience. Maybe if warren put him up against some worthwhile opponents he'd get it.
