Think i'll play this on Sunday. Is it a must take ticket or a cash alternative? Would much prefer it to be a ticket than argue with 2 or 3 drunken regulars that want to split it 4 ways for €150! (thats if i make it that far!)

16 runners or so, maybe 12 donks and some of the worst play you'll ever see in a tournament. Everyone limp calling, check calling. No fold equity because you get called by bottom pair etc...horrible when you dont get a hand!

Got 1010 and ran into JJ on a rag flop for most of my chips so nursed a shortstack for about an hour and finally pushed with J10 when i had 4 BB and got snap called in mid-position with Q7.

Highlight hands..

Someone calling down a flop, turn and river bet on a AQ9xx board with 22.
Someone calling a huge c/r on the river with 4x3d on an all diamond board.
Calling an allin with 92..just for the craic.
5 people limp calling for 500 (blinds 50/100) out of a 3k stack.
On a KxxxK with 4 diamonds board...someone c/c flop...c/c turn and CRAI on the river, proudly turning over AA no diamonds like it was the nuts

I could go on!

Huge value tournament and people should go along if they fancied a chance at a ticket, because if he hit hands, you will get paid off and hopefully get a ticket!

yea like FD says it was unreal value. tbh i was playing for about 10 minutes and couldnt believe the shocking standard of most (not all) of the entrants, which was great. You just had to be patient and pick your spots really carefully. I would seriously advise all hopefuls to head down to this on the sunday. It appeared to me that alot of the value were known regulars so happy days. I got to HU and the other guy wanted the cash and i wanted the ticket so happy days and fair play to the lads for accomodating to what both of us wanted. Again i cant stress enough how happy i was playing this sat!!
3000 double chance f/o and i was only one of 2 who asked for the extra 3k straight away.... nuf said.
