    This is the status of my latest buy.

    Aug 25
    14:18 In Customs IEPTLA IRELAND

    Aug 25
    15:18 Arrival at inward office of exchange PORTLAOISE IRELAND

    Do I need to call someone? It's been at the inward office of exchange for 2 days now! :(

    My last one was the same. It just showed up unannounced before I got any other updates on the tracking.

    Was that a knock at the door? ;)

    It should be delivered today, that's the longest I've had to wait. A day in customs, the next day up to Dublin and then the next day it came to me.

    I'd say give An Post (or whatever carrier it is) a call to check when it's expected to be delivered.

    Just have some cash handy for when that knock does arrive. That long in Customs means you'll have to pay import.

    It shouldn't take long to pass through customs, so i'd ring them if it doesnt clear by tomorrow.

    Thanks lads. Now to ask the wife to hold off on the kids schoolbooks to pay the import tax on my guitar. That should go down well. :D

    A guitar beginning with "B" and ending with "acchus" ;)

    I just rang customs and they told me they are very busy and haven't gotten to my package just yet. They have a backlog from Monday to get through and hope to get to it in the next couple of days. :(
