    Hey,
    Been playing drums for about 5/6 months. I'm mostly into punk/alternative stuff but I'm open to anything really. Just to give you an idea of my influences its stuff like The Ramones, The Bronx, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, The Distillers, The Misfits, Rancid, Foxboro Hot Tubs, Dropkick Murphys.

    We are a band based in Dublin, we're called 'Pariah State'. Our Drummer will have to leave shortly due to working commitments. We are aged between 20 and 24 (1 guitar, bass, vocals and the drummer who is leaving). We have some originals but are hoping to play some covers as well; and start playing more paid gigs. We have done some gigs around Dublin and so have some experience playing live. Our music influences, with regards our original material, ranges from everything from Bob Marley to Black Sabbath. Although, as stated, we will also be performing covers for paying audiences.

    We will be holding an audition on Saturday next week (6th of Sept.) at Applerock studios on Foley Street in the city centre from 6.00pm until 10.30pm.

    There are 3 songs which we would like you to learn for this audition, they're all our own songs and can be found at the following site (which is our band's site): http://www.gigsmartireland.com/members/164/

    We would like if you learnt our originals rather than covers, because we'd like to get a good idea of your level of creativity.

    Hey I'm a 19 year old acoustic guitarist looking to start an original band based on the kind of music I play: acoustic/easy listening but there is also a fair bit of energy too.
    At the moment theres myself, another guitaist and a bassist, they just joined in the last 2 days so we dont have anything together to show you but this is my music page anyway:

    What would you say your level of creativity is? The aim is to play new original tunes instead of just doing cover songs, though we may do a couple.
