gyms wexford / enniscorthy

    Hi does anyone know if any of the gyms in wexford / enniscorthy are doing any special offers, looking to join but seem expensive !!! thanks!:)

    I don't know about any special deals, but I've tried a few of the gyms in Wexford town and the one in Whites is easily my favourite - I rejoined a few months ago after 9 months in a great gym in Dublin. It's clean, the equipment works, has all you need for cardio and weights (although more weights would be better), the staff are friendly and in my experience reasonably knowledgable, it's easy to track your progress with their FitLinxx system and there's never a problem with it being overly busy.

    As for prices, I'm not too sure but you'll find it all on their website.

    The only gym I've ever used in Wexford is the one in the Ferrycarraig Hotel. I can go in as a guest on my Dad's membership whenever I'm home. There's a very good selection of cardio equipment and the pool area is excellent. Free weights leave a lot to be desired but that's to be expected with a Hotel gym (though they do have a power rack which is something my gym is lacking). And as it's a hotel gym its pricey. it doesn't list the prices on the website but if you have to ask...
