Can't add files to iTunes library?

I've recently converted some dvds using a combo of dvdfab and handbrake - want to put them on my itouch for upcoming travels. However only one of the files will go into the library when I try to add files to the library. Drag and drop doesn't work for the rest of them either. Tried videora but I never get picture and sound…

An update to this: I bought the 4media ipod converter from mp4converter.net and the files will go onto my ipod. Problem is one dvd I got in a one file but two other dvds went in as chapters so 8 chapters to make up the film. Anyone know how I can set it to import a dvd as a single file?
