    Hey folks.

I'm a 22 year old dude looking to play guitar in a Dublin band north or centrally based.
I recently left drumming for 5 years in my UK 3 piece alt rock band.
I want to make the change to guitarist/songwriter and have fun playing great music again.

I am generally against paying to practice in staircase ridden holes in town but don't mind the odd time. Alternatives can be hard to find but much better for writing music.

For me good music involves: groove/tone/dynamic/resonant/dischordant/heavy/mellow/lush/funk/unique and progressive elements.
Bands I like include Primus, Smashing Pumpkins, Bjork, Deftones, Sigur Ros, Tool but more importantly is the transcendency of quality music that I want to convey.
I think its so important to be original. These days the term 'alternative rock' has been severely watered down!

If this ad resonates with anybody, get in touch and we can meet some Wednesday in the Bleu Note jazz bar over a pint and a nice smoke.

    Matt
