Freeware file recovery program?

    stupid feckin eejit I am.. :mad: Sigh...

    Anyone know anything decent I can use for a CF card? I've downloaded about 8 'free' ones so far only to discover they'll search and even show me the files I've deleted but then I have to pay to get them back...

    Is it a SanDisk CF card? They usually come with some software...

    Thanks all. I managed to get half them back with Photorec. I think that's my lot as I'd already written new files to the card before I realised I'm a complete idiot. So I think all the software and CDs in the world won't bring them back now. They weren't hugely important thank christ..
