    Hey
Im running 3 times a week training for the marathon, doing cv in the gym one other day
Twice a week lifting upper body and twice a week lifting lower body weights
Im lifting as heavy as I can with my weights for all exercises

lately the bottom left side of my back is in a bad way and I don't know if Im putting it out lifting with no support

Do you reckon ist a waste of time and money to see a physio?

Dont want to be told I cant train

I amn't sure if the upper body or lower body weights are affecting it
    What do you all reckon?

It is never a waste of time to see a physio - especially wen it's to do with your back. What would you prefer, being in extreme pain visiting the physio after a few weeks and being told you're to lie flat on a board for 2 months or visit to be told you've just been doing something wrong, take a week off and with a bit of physio you'll be right as reign

I'd disagree smiler I think it can be a big waste of time and money. If you're lifting heavy regularly you're going to get tweaks, muscle strains etc. If it gets better with a bit of rest then don't worry about it. If you have something getting worse or something that completely puts you off your feet then get it looked at.

I'm not telling people not to use physios before I get attacked, I just think sometimes people run to them with every little strain. They're bcoming like protein shakes. You're not a serious athlete unless you take supplements and see a physio.

I reckon the charter is pretty clear around the discussion of injuries.
