    Hey All,

I have really bad dry skin around the left hand side of my nose. I've had it for a few months now, some days i barely notice it and somedays it is bright red. I went to a chemist and was instructed to use e45 or sudocream.

After a few weeks neither of these are working. Is there any other products I can try before going to a dermatoligists?

    thanks

    Hey Dallas,

I used to have really bad dry skin all across my face and it looked worse with make - up and if I tried out new creams my face would just feel like it was burning...Anyway I started using a cream called Eurcerin... ( I know it's sounds like urine) but it's actually really good... there's no perfume added or any crap like that. It's got a bit of a funny texture but I wouldn' t let that put you off. You can get it in most chemists for just over €10 for a tub. I use the one with SPF 15 in it. You should give it a shot.

The best thing in the world for this that will definitely cure it is dermalogica's barrier repair lotion. Ask your local dermalogica stockist for a free sample.

Tiny bit of olive oil at night. It's really moisturising, but too shiny for daytime. Also cheap!
