Has anyone tried to quit? I don't know if I would call myself addicted, but I find I've gotten in to a routine that involves an awful lot of time sitting in front of this website...
So have you tried to quit, or take a break? I know 6th gave it up for lent...or at least stayed very quiet n an alt account! And how much of your life does boards chew up?

I work 5 day a week 9-6 , basicly boards chews up most of that! Honestly dont know how i coped in work without it

It can be done. I gave up politics.ie. But that may have been because I found this place.

Boards.ie is like Masturbating.

You like to do it, you cant stop doing it, you can try to give up, but you'll find you'll sneak of to do it at least once a day.

You can do it in bed beside your girlfriend, but she frowns upon it,unless you do it together, but you like it better than she does.. and if you do it too often infront of her she thinks there is something wrong with her.

You do it so often that, you feel guilty for the little pleasures it gives you. You think you are the only one doing it.. but everyone is.

You used to be restricted to where you could do it, the one room in the house, but now you can do it in the bedroom, sitting room, kitchen, shed, dogs kennel, while ur driving.. or even at mass
