Hi everyone.going unreg for this. Going to get straight to the point. Im pretty sure i have ADD as i have done quite a bit of research and i have nearly every single symptom from all the different sources i have searched. I have never gone to a G.P about it.Im just a bit nervous about it i guess and i really dont want to take any medication if it is going to affect me physically. My line of work allows for zero medication that is going to affect you in any way mentally or physically. Just wondering if anyone can give me advice if you have ADD and what happened to you when you got diagnosed.did the medication help?slow you down?Or are there are other ways to treat it that dont involve medication.

Any advice would be greatfully appreciated.thanks

First Off OP: Self diagnosis by ticking boxes online is not the way to diagnose.
Only a qualified professional, looking at your history can make this diagnosis.

The nature of your questions re: medications, is not suitable for PI.

Go to your doctor, get a refferal and have yourself examined and diagnosed by professional staff.
