I saw these somewhere on the web but cannot find them, checked boards but nothing same for ebay.

Basically what it is, it replaces your exesting sockets in your house with POE version so you get the 2 plugs and then 2 rj45 connectors as well,
    So looking for them

These dont sound like POE? Do you mean you just what 2 mains sockets and on the same block to standard Cat6 RJ45's?

No they have the poe built onto the back of them so look like a standard plug but with the poe at the back of it.

Defo saw them somewhere and would love to get some. I am in a new house and some of the fixings are shocking so going to replace them with these.

Is it a socket with a built-in Homeplug (Ethernet over power) as Bluefrog suggests? Be surprised if it is as they run quite hot and are fairly bulky so you'd need a deep back-box.

    Power-over-ethernet is something else entirely.

Let us know if you find them?

Power over ethernet, or PoE, is a method of using spare wire pairs in a twisted pair network cable to provide power to network devices connected to it. It's very often used in wireless networks to both connect and power wireless AP's without the additional burden of having to get mains power to them as well.

What you're discussing is called either Homeplug (which is an industry standard) or more generically, powerline communication.
