    Hi All,

    I'll give this another go.

    Boards Golf Day
    Druids Heath
    Saturday, 20th of Sept
    Green Fee €65

Limited space... :-) I hope that bit gets a laugh....

Let me know if your interested.

Game of golf - then home to watch the Ryder cup - classic or what!!

    Thanks,

    Graham

I like the idea but could you not pick a neutral venue for all members of boards?

People living in the west are going to find it mighty hard to get to Wicklow for a game of golf and back again (petrol etc.)

Esker Hills for example in Tullamore would be better but that is just my opinion. :)

I might get a prize in that case :pac: :D

I'm surprised that there isn't much feedback. It sounds like a good idea and a fun day out.

As long as you're not a psycho, are you?!

Would love to join ye, but I'm off to Tulfarris for 3 days of golf (Ryder cup format) with 19 lads, some food and good wine, and I believe that there is golf on the TV starting on the 19th :D.

    I've found my playing partner!

Edit: Balls! I just checked my shift calendar and I'm working the Friday night. I'll be in no state to play on Saturday.

Sorry lads, my edit appears to have been missed. I'm working Friday night until 7.30 Saturday morning. Not a hope of me being able to swing a club! A real pity 'cos I was rearing to go. I think once any sort of a Boards outing happens, even just a fourball, and gets discussed on here, we could see this grow.

we have a three ball then :-)

    DRed Army
    OBNI

    we'll tee off at 11.30 :-)

last call... there are 3 of us so far.

Weather forecast is for stone splitting sunshine.

I'm back in if there's still room.
Decided to take the Friday night off for the RC but I'll be long enough on the couch this weekend that a few hours in the fresh air won't do any harm!

Just be aware that if this is any sort of team competition I will be a millstone and scupper your chances.

Well, there may not have been a massive turnout from the boards, but it was a great day. Cracking course and possibly the best weather we've had all year.

thanks again to the lads that showed. Super day...

37 was the highest score on the day (handicap 11)

I might try to arrange a turkey shoot if anyone is interested. :-)
