    Hey,

I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and being very scared and shocked, I'd love to watch it again, but I don't remember the name, maybe someone here knows the movie I'm talking about?

It's a zombie movie the setting is in a hospital, they have red eyes, basically what I remember is that in the end this "main zombie" catches the hospital director is something ties him down, opens up his head up and starts inserting small metallic rods into his brain, and changing his personality based on where he fiddled.

    Ring any bells?

    When was your childhood?

One of the Re-animator films had an ending like that if I remember correctly. But it might have been one of the more recent ones.

Could be one of the The Return of the Living Dead films though.

Yep. Was released in 2003... That's the year the OP signed up on boards... so I'm guessing that isn't his childhood.

Sounds very Cronenbergy - will need to think about this one!

Sounds to me like The Dead Pit which incidently enough recently got released on DVD. Looking forward to sittign down and watching it alongside Dead and Buried as they compliment one another quite well.

You're welcome man, it's a pretty good film which from the bits I've flciked through stands up reasonably well today.

Throw in Dead and Buried, Castle Freak and Re-Animator and I think we have the perfect 80's horror night.
