    Hi there

Sorry wasn't sure if this right place to post or in 'work & jobs'.

I just finished my degree in marketing in may and have found it hard to get a job. I am on job seekers benefit and as thinking of the doing a course with fas to get different skills.

The question is do they pay to attend daytime courses?otherwise i couldn't afford to do a course.
Also anyone have any experience doing any of these courses? Was thinkin of doing the certificate in Manual & Computerised Payroll/Accounts.

    thanks

Yes they would pay the same as social welfare.

If the course you are thinking of doing is not available or is booked out in your local area, FAS also pay an accommodation grant if you have to move to a different county. It's a good way to gain some new skills and most of these courses run for six months or longer.
