Sky Digital no signal in Cork

Anyone else lost their signal for most of this afternoon (since about 2.30, I'd say). Weather isn't too bad (considering) and turning off at the mains has done nothing. I'm in Cork.

Yeah, my sky box is knacked. Anyone know a good service engineer in the general area who might be cheaper than Sky's?

Depending on what is wrong with your box , it would probaly be cheaper to book a service call with sky. Although they may send you a semi-trained monkey, he will replace your dead box (with a s/h one). Sky sevice call is €100 (may have gone up.) Call an independent and you have to pay for his time and travel as well as the cost of repair or replacement.

and what happens if you get a independent monkey there around also and know well how to charge at least you can go back to sky and complain !
