    I bought a new shotgun yesterday and was wondering do i need to get a complete new license or can i add it to my other shotgun license?

    New licence, only concession you get is that second and subsequent shotgun licences are €6 as opposed to €25.

    The proposed 3 year licence to be introduced will not offer concessions for second shotgun licences.

    When i'm going to firearms officer do i need to bring letters of permission from land owners or do i just bring my existing license. Thanks for the help

    It would be no harm to bring both,along with compensation fund card if you have one.

    No need for the permission thing etc all over again. Bottom line is that the super is happy with your justification for the additional gun, in other words : have a word with the fire arms man/lady and if they're happy enough you're 90% sorted,

    Went to the station today, the fo said i need to get permission for land owners or join a club and give a good reason for the purpose of the new gun to get the license. :confused:

    Huh ? Are you sure the F/O understood the little detail that you're talking about an additional gun ? What do you have to do to get an additional gun ? Pay your gunclub membership twice ?
