    Hi guys,

If this is the wrong place to post this then please move:)

I've just moved to NY and i'm trying to figure out a way to watch the football online. It seems to be pretty easy with a PC with applications like Sopcast and TVU player available, but it doesn't seem that they are available for a Mac,

Anyone got any ideas for a work around?

BBC have launched an app called iPlayer that allows you to watch their content. Problem is you need to be in the UK:(. Is there a way i can fool the site into thinking i'm in the UK.

I've been on google and tried to figure this out, so any help much appreciated!

    http://www.justin.tv/

this site has all the sports streamed live, use the search to find what youre looking for...not sure about the legalities

it works in firefox, but i find works better in safari, cos safari is more light weight, so doesnt seem to buffer as much.
    anyway enjoy

for the bbc iplayer, you could use a proxy...but i think justin tv will prob have what u need if its live football your looking for

Just use the links that say (link no p2p), they are mainly from justin.tv, it's good for all sports too.

or just dual boot windows for the p2p programs or run VMware Fusion!

    Beginner's Guide
P2P, peer to peer, a fantastic technique to get video to thousands of viewers, simply and easy. You need to connect to a channel on a program, then it will start "buffering" , which means uploading/downloading untill the stream is good enough to watch. Below we will explain easily how it works. So far all programs are for Windows only, it isn't suitable yet for Mac OSX / Apple . Only Sopcast is available for Linux also.

    That'll be a no then . . .
