I've enjoyed it. Not sure if I'd put it in my top 5 but it's nowhere near the worst. The fourth series will never be beaten for that title.

i started a thread like this ages ago! it is infact one of the worst series ever,
sure what do you expect, when you keep the likes of mo, lisa, kat in the house who sit around all day and discuss what they mite have for dinner etc.
    thats not entertainment.

Agree with this totally. That one was the one with Anthony and Craig wasn't it? Some class clips on youtube of it. I was totally irritated by Brian last year putting on the 'stupid' act(even his mother said he was putting it on):rolleyes:and the squealing twins-nice girls though they were were hard to listen to.

I love the wee devil-deadly:D. I've enjoyed every bit of this year's bb by the way. From the first night which is unusual really for me-it takes a while for me to get into it.

    werd

maxwell year was easily the best

BB need to stop trying to excite people with their albinos and sh1t

i don't think BB realize how many lads will watch BB if its full of hot chicks, the women will watch it no matter who's in the house

I hafta say, if stephanie was still in the house it would have been a bit more exciting. She was a bjore and she (seemingly) wasn't a complete head-case. She just seemed more interesting than a lot of HMs who were there longer than her.

Steph , imo was treated very unfairly by BB.
Considering her age to Mario's it was obvious he was going to be able to handle that task better than her.
She was put in a position by BB that again imo she was going to fail.
She said at one stage " l can't do it because it would be like me being with my dad "
l could understand her saying that.
So could BB which is why she was picked for the task.
All their personality's are well looked over before they go in , so we can see why Steph was chosen for that one.

See that was funny without even trying to be.
l wish they would bring about a BB all stars where the public decide out of all the winners and HMs who were fav's and got evicted to go in for a Unanimous winner of BB.
That would be a class BB to watch.:D

Stopped watching a few weeks back. I actually dont like a single housemate this year. Usually there is one or two that I root for but I cant even get behind one of them this year.

I'd say they don't particularily care about attracting lads to watch the show because know lads will not vote come friday. Any speculation 'lads' do on the show generally happens down the bookies and not down endemols sms lines. Large numbers doesn't always mean large revenues.

Notice how ITV programming often attracts large viewing figures but (unfortunately for them) it's generally the segment of the population without any disposable income (the segment which I playfully like to refer to as 'scum', 'proles' and 'idiots') and hense the channel get low advertising revenues.

As an aside does anyone here know of a site that gives BB UK viewer/voter numbers year on year? I'd be interested to see if there's been an increase/decrease in these numbers (hopefully a decrease)?

Downward trend in total viewers but a maintaining of audience percentage share (which is the more important figure for advertisers).

You can't really compare year-on-year ratings with any relevance, even stuff like Eastenders/Corrie is only getting about 60% of the total audience they got 8 year ago. Its to do with the proliferation of specialist satellite stations which are diluting the viewing audience.

It got very boring there when Nicole came into the house due to the fact that the best entertainer in there was busy with her.
I found it a struggle to watch the highlights show.
Now that she is gone I am straight back into it again.
It was boring for the few weeks she was there otherwise it wasn't too bad of a BB imo

She did kinda bring down the mood in the house and not just with Rex with her been in there it effected his relationships somewhat with the likes of Mo Kat Sara.

With the two of them always bickering its going to be difficult for the other housemates to be around.

This series peaked at the Fight Night episode. It started off as must see TV what with Alex and then the rumor club. It started to really go down hill with the introduction of that Belinda woman.

I tried to perservere, but its been pure tosh. I stopped watching the nightly show three weeks ago and now only watch the repeats of the eviction at 630 on e4 and that really doesn't have much of chance anymore now that we are in the deluded waster stages of Xfactor.

At one stage I was hoping for a meteorite shower and for a couple to come smashing through the roof killing them all....with one landing directly on Mario's enourmous head.

    BB9=FAIL

That is a totally genius idea. It would be brilliant! Think Brian would win hands down over any of them-He's such a naturally funny nice fella and wouldn't it be brilliant him being Irish and all? :)

Massive BB fan and i have to say i'm struggling this year! Find myself leaving the tv to have a shower or make a sandwich or just plain flick the channel out of bordom! Glad nicole is gone...she was horrid! I hated her! Out of what left i would like lisa to win simply cos she is funny in her own way! The others are a*ssholes and that darnell should be slung out for what he said to sara last night! Rex was no better!

I think this Big Brother is pretty good; especially compared to last years one with those awful twins. The worst one has to have been the one that Cameron won.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,004 ✭✭✭Ann22

I hated that it was Cameron that won that year. I'm not sure as he was so bland but I've a feeling he may've been a classic fence sitter. I went on hols during this series but got straight back into it when I got home, I usually find it a struggle to do that. It helped that I had it all recorded on sky plus and had a pure Big Brother fest when I got home. The rain was p*ssing down and I'd loads of clothes to wash and unpacking to do but boy it cheered me up no end watching it all. :)
