Possibly a stupid question but - do you use 2 hard-drives for this ? If not, how do you connect 2 monitors to same computer and then choose which tables go on which monitors (computer illiterate btw)

You know what I mean ?

Anal retentive remote control positioning imo. Did you just clean or something?

Seriously though this is a good setup although I'd prefer a bit more space and maybe a comfier looking chair.

EDIT: If you are tall then those lower keyboard pull-out things are very annoying I find.

Most graphics cards have 2-3 outputs. Windows has no problem alligning 2 side by side monitors. You can then use a program like Ultramon to stretch your taskbar across the two.

I use 2 1600x1200 Dell monitors, 8 normal size tables with no overlap.

I used to get pretty bad pains in the right hand and forearm. I do a bit of stretching before sessions now though and have improved my posture and I haven't felt anything since.

Somebody still owns it. And it's still awesome.

Some random guy on google and some random guy here are equally well known to me, so the awesomeness changes not at all imo.

Well I use a S video sometimes it only looks ok, but for a proper set up there should be a connection on the back of the tv,its small enough and looks like the connection from a regelar lcd computer monitor.

Plug one end to laptop/desktop other to tv.
On my tv I have to change the settings I think its from componet to PC.Your tv could be different.

Depending on your laptop you may have to change a few settings.I do this by

    start>controll panal>display
on the display properties > settings tab click on monitor 2 then click extend my desktop to this monitor.

Hardly a stupid question, its tricky enough but that should work fine,by the way wireless mouse and wireless keyboard should be on your next shoping list.

If you want any more help let me know.

it's actually awful imo, he'd be better off with a 30" + a 20", or two 24" instead of 4 tabling on a bunch of small monitors.

I don't know why anyone needs more than one monitor. I actually find it harder to play 6+ tables when they aren't overlapping. If I play 8-10 and overlap them at an angle on one screen it's really easy because each screen pops up in turn when it's my time to act, even on iPoker.

    its actually a 24" two 21" and a 19"

the crt is 21" and connected to a separate computer.Handy for datamining while playing on the main computer.

the poker tables open are for demonstration purposes only. i do not play that many tables and if i do i would use mini view.

i agree some1 is better off with 2 30"or a 30"" + 20"+ but if u have a few spare monitors there is no harm in adding them also(im only using 2 myself atm as i was kicked out of the spare bedroom :)
). when i was using the 4 i had 8 tables on 2 mons. lobby on another and eyepoker on the 4th. eyepoker was feeding from datamined hands off the second computer.

i hate overlap as sometimes just when u are about to act, another table pops but as nicky says its just a matter of getting used to it
