dns patch kb951748 broke zone alarm

    patch kb951748 stops connection internet while ZA running. Uninstalling allows internet acces but be aware that you wll get a warning that other patches may not work if you uninstall it. I did cos it is an old pc. Had I ZA on new PC wold have changed firewall

    PS you may know this it is around since July but I only updated last night

    This was a big problem a while ago for a lot of users. Although I thought zonealarms had fixed the problem with a patch/update. Looking at the link, yeap that was last month.

    Yes,
    apparently my attemp at being the cavalry is too late! This pc has been offline for a couple months while I moved house
