Strange 02 broadband problem

    Hi guys,

    Had problems using my E220 with vista so used the firmware patch described in this forum before.

    Works fine now on my machine.

    Problem is I want to install it on another machine using vista. Since I did the firmware update, I've lost the 02 installer software (the piece of software you lauch on your desktop to connect).

    is there anywhere online where I can get this?

    when u insert dongle into the usb hub a CD icon shud appear in my computer
    Browse it and find the program(not familar with o2 only vodafone)

    Alternatively just google..

    I could do that UNTIL I patched the firmware.

    That's the problem. The software isn't on the usb dongle anymore. Can't find it online either!

    Create a shortcut to the following file,

    "C:\Program Files\O2\O2 Broadband USB Modem\O2 Broadband\O2 Broadband.exe"

    assuming you've used the default settings.

    If that doesn't do it I'd drop into your local o2 store, I'm sure they could burn a cd for you or ring customer care.
