    Hi,
We are thinking about getting marraid next year sept-dec timeframe. We would love something different. Does anyone have any ideas to an alternative reception then a hotel? We were thinking of a restaurant but there are not many big enough, we are from waterford and will be inviting around 165 people. A Marque is another idea but the irish weather could ruin that. So any suggestions, even bizarre ones would be appreciated.
Anyone ever been to a fancy dress wedding? what do you all think?

Thanks for the reply, but we have just made up our mind to feck off to vegas. It will be tough not having everyone there but at the end of the day its the one time in your life to be selfish. So vegas here we come. Thinking about new years eve 2009. Anyone ever been to a wedding in vegas before?

I'm so jealous!! Thats what we wanted to do but gave into the family pressure and stayed at home instead so we've rented out a country house to ourselves and will head there on honeymoon.
Have you been there before? I've been twice and its just an amazing place. I've never been at a wedding but seen a few happening. Will you have people travelling with you? MGM Grand had a good package of an in-suite reception. Caters for a small wedding but is still like a private reception.

or another idea is you could have a casino night here (or when you come back if you wanted) and still have the Vegas Theme!

Only just started looking into it, no never been to vegas before. I'd say there will be 20-30 people travelling with us. Not too sure to get marraid in the hotel or one of those small chapels, altough the chapels look a bit cheap. Not really religous but dont fancy elvis marrying us either!!! The Venetion looks lovely!!
